Ideas on how to insert automation into the Van and/or Camper but not only.
This we did on our VAN (GIOTTI VAN 60T) for see the streaming TV, control the temperature and the bulbs, see the cameras, create an VAN anti theft, etc.
This give as the possibility to control everything from a mobile phone in VAN and/or CAMPER but also outside the VAN or CAMPER like when we go to do a tracking.
For do this are necessary (of course) some electronic equipment, the basic one is the router.
Now there are a lot of mobile router, we decided to use the RUT360 that is a professional router.
The second electronic equipment that we used is the Shelly Plus Uni that is a very flexible WiFi general purpose for I/O, Temperature, etc, interface.
Our main goal is get a stable Internet connection (for video streaming, email, and so on) and also create a simple but efficient VAN and/or Camper anti theft (alarm), see below what we did.
Internet Connection
For get an internet connection we use the RUT360 that is a professional router, you can see our explanation here.
Of course is necessary also a SIM, now there are a lot of mobile provider that offer a good solutions, see for example the OGILink.
The first step is finished but is also necessary install the router on your VAN and/or CAMPER, see our solution here (is in italian language but there are a lot of photos).

Camera for video surveillance
Now we has the Internet connection on our VAN and/or Camper we has also the possibility to use a camera for monitor the internal especially if we leave our cat or dog inside when when we go out.
Now there are a lot of good camera, we use the IMOU camera that you can find here.
