Third party add-on or plug-in for Home Assistant (HA)

Normally the official Plug-In or Add-On are present in:
SUPERVISOR -> ADD-ON STORE
see below.

There is the possibility to add other Plug-In or Add-On from a non official repositories, read below to discover how to do.

For add a new Plug-In or Add-On click on the three vertical dot present on the top right of the page and chose REPOSITORIES, see below.

From the popup window that appears you see the repositories already installed and also have the possibility to enter the address of the repository that you want to add to your Home Assistant. See below.

Suppose that you need to install the OCTOPRINT add-on for control your 3D-Printer do this:
Search on google the: add-on octoprint home assistant
and you can find this page where there is the repository address, see below.

Copy the repository address and put it in the ADD line and press ADD and CLOSE, see below.

Now you can see the add-on below.
NOTE, if you don’t see it, back to OVERVIEW and next return to SUPERVISOR -> ADD-ON STORE

We want highlight to you an interesting three party repository where you can find a loot of add-on that is HACS.XYZ

Of course is necessary install the HACS.XYZ in HA.
For do this is necessary use the TERMINAL.
For install TERMINAL select:
SUPERVISOR -> ADD_ON STORE and install TERMINAL, see below.

From:
HACS.XYZ -> INSTALLATION -> NEXT
copy the command:
wget -q -O – https://install.hacs.xyz | bash –
See below

Now open the TERMINAL and paste the link copied above and press ENTER.
See below

At this point is necessary restart Home Assistant.
CONFIGURATION -> SERVER CONTROL
and press RESTART
see below.

Now for show in our selection bar the HACS do this:
CONFIGURATION -> INTEGRATIONS -> ADD INTEGRATION
search HACS and select it and be patient.

From the popup that appear flag all box as we show below.

Now copy the number that is show in the new pop-up in your GitHub page, if you don’t have a GitHub account create it, see below.

At the end you must see the image below, press Finish.

Now in our selection bar of Home Assistant there is the HACS icon, see below.

For see the extra add-on available select:
HACS -> INTEGRATION

and from the page that appears press the button:
EXPLORE & ADD REPOSITORIES
