How to install tar.gz file under Linux (UBUNTU)

For install name_file.tar.gz under Linux do the steps below.

Open TERMINAL
Install alien using this command: sudo apt-get install alien
Now go in the directory where there is the name_file.tar.gz and type: sudo alien name_file.tar.gz
At the end of the process, in the same directory now you can see the file: name_file.deb
Now double click on name_file.deb for start the installation.
